Dear Sir:- 
I beg to acknowledge receipt of your favor of the 16th inst advising me that you have placed to my credit the proceeds for the sale of $8000. Lehigh Valley R. R. Cy of New York 1st Mtge 4 ½% amounting to $7960 00/100. also enclosing note against Mr A. O. Tate for $ 6000. 00/100 
I enclose you herewith my check as per your request the same being in payment for note of Mr A O Tate amounting to $ 6000.00
