Feb. 23 - 1897 Edmond Congar Brown Esq- 132 Nassau Street New York Dear Sir:- In reply to your favor of the 16th. inst, I beg to state that I do not remember any exclusive arrangement with Mr Dickson on Photographs. Mr Dickson wrote a note which we have stating that at any time I could have prints made from negatives. I did not object to his taking photographs from time to time, or selling prints therefrom but never recognized his ownership in the negatives. Yours truly Thomas A. Edison
