Feb 24th. 1897 W. H. Meadowcroft Esq. Harrison N. J Dear Mr Meadowcroft I have been waiting for the return of the lamps from Edison N.J and as they did not show up I hunted around and found that Mr Edison brought them to Orange and as soon as Mrs Edison saw them she immediately took possession of them and said she was going to keep them. Will you please have a bill made out in the names of the New Jersey and Pennsylvania Concentrating Works for the lamps and send same to me and I will get a check for it. Everyone at the dinner were very much pleased with the lamps. Thanking you very much for your trouble and promptness I remain, Yours truly J F. Randolph
