A. Walker Otis Esq.,

Dear Sir :-
I beg to enclose you herewith an order on the American Surety Company to deliver you the $10.000 Government bond in the name of Miss Marion E. Edison. Mr. Edison says to forward this direct to Miss Edison at [illegible struck text] Neusalza, Saxony, Germany; and in regard to the cash, Mr. Edison says he does not care to fix this up at present so you had better send the receipt and have them signed before the U.S. Consul. The bond is to be held by Miss Marion Edison until Mr. Edison arranges in regard to buying the German Government bonds.
Yours truly,
John F. Randolph.
