Glasgow, Scotland.
Dear Sir:
Your favor of the 16th ult. came duly to hand and in reply I beg to state that I am glad to see you have decided to give your customers the right to purchase. this goes a long way towards straight business methods in my opinion.
Regarding Mr Moriarty I have not only no influence with the Edison United Phonograph Company but we have been at war for years. They have done everything possible to injure the business and I think they have at last succeeded.
Yours truly –
Thomas A Edison
