Dear Sir:-
In reply to your favor of the 28th ult, I beg to state that No manufacturer has yet produced a good lamp for X Ray. I am going to fit up a small place to make lamps which I think will be satisfactory, it will be a month or six weeks before any can be turned out.
Eimer and Amend of New York makes bulbs but I donot know how good they are.
Yours truly
Thos. A. Edison
R[andolph].
