Dear Sir:
In reply to your favor of the 30th ult I beg to say that at present I am only in iron ore concentration but later may go into gold. I personally visited North Carolina several years ago with the idea of acquiring some gold property to experiment on but the prices were so absurd and the character of the ore so hard to work that I gave it up in disgust. You people are impracticable.
Yours truly
Thos A. Edison
