Dear Sir:-
In reply to your favor of the 22nd inst, I beg to state that the sample has Uranium Ochre. I have tried a few experiments and think that the free Ochre might possibly be separated after crushing quite economically.
There it however scarcely any market for uranium, ten tons would supply the world, even if used for steel the market would not exceed 50 tons per annum and then the price would have to be very low to sell that amount, a very large body of 40 percent uranium ore has been discarded at Grand Encampment Wyoming and it would be hard to compete.
