Title
[LBCD7031], Letter from Thomas Alva Edison to George Harrison Bliss, July 18th, 1884
Editor's Notes
"Referring to your favor of the 15th July, I beg to state that the United States Electric Lighting Co. have been promising the lamp you refer to for two years past. We frequently get hold of some of their lamps, and to show you the character of the lamps they make, the last life curve that a set of Maxim lamps, set up at sixteen candles, gave was 231 hours of average life."
