- Editor's Notes
- Yours of 1st and 4th rcd. Your copy of "Provisional Order" not to hand. Sent you few days ago twelve 100cp lamps, the first we thought good enough. Pls order regular lamps early to allow plenty of time. "Our Isolated Co is going along splendidly;" capital stock doubled recently and all new shares taken up. Bijou Theater (Boston) is great success. Just got order for sugar refiner in Brooklyn. "The central station is working admirably." Using 3 Armington engines and will put in more as fast as we can get them. EHJ will tell you all about it; he leaves here on 'Alaska' Feby 3. "We are having splendid sleighing. It has lasted over a week. New York has almost forsaken wheels & betaken herself to runners."
