- chastises Tate: It is very strange if you have written several letters that only one has arrived, and that one contains nothing else except your expense account. It is extremely annoying for me to be continually asked by Mr. Edison what is Tate doing and to be compelled to tell him that I do not know. It is not fair of you to put me in that position.
