- Editor's Notes
- "I am very sorry to have kept you waiting so long at the office today. I am going away on Saturday to be gone some time and I wanted to say to you that I have had a talk with Mr. Edison in regard to the burner matter and that he has said that he would start on the work very soon: as soon as I return I will assist. ### I will try and get to the hotel to see you before I leave and if I am unable to do so I will say good-bye and assure you that I will do all I can to have the work pushed." Yours very truly, E. Gilliland
