"You will please take notice that I desire to avail myself of the privilege given me under my contract with you of June 28th, 1888, of selling to you on September 1st, 1888 one-fifth of my stock in the North American Phonograph Company for fifty thousand dollars and that on the 1st of September I shall present such stock and request payment as provided in my contract."
