- "In accordance with your [unclear] from Mr. Gilliland's cablegram. Maguire and McLaughlin are only written contracts ever given. McCutcheon has none. Very many that can be expected by McCutcheon or demanded by Maguire and McLaughlin is the agency upon same terms as exacted of all other agents, and failing to accept and comply with those terms they have no futher claims. Maguire and McLaughlin contracts were agreements to give them agency for territory on whatever [unclear] and plan of operating the business that might be decided upon in the future. Mr. Lippencott agreed to carry out these contracts; all other agency matters are optionial with him?" Yours truly, Chas. P.
