Title
[LM022172], Letter from Charles Patterson Bruch to Ezra Torrance Gilliland, September 28th, 1888
Editor's Notes
"Nothing of any importance has transpired since the last mail. ### The [boat?] is being hauled out this afternoon. I am just starting over to se to hear. Lenox went back on us at the last, and we had to find another place: Ayer’s in the Atlantic Yacht club basin, where I think we will have better care than at Lenox’s place. ### The Captain seems to have expected that you would retain them through the year, and take them to Florida—an impression derived from the conversation when you engaged him. ### I have heard nothing further from Lippincott. Shall tender the stock on Monday and request payment of Septr. Balance and amounts due in October." All well. Yours truly, Chas. P. Bruch [Also on page, letter from Gilliland to W.B. Parker, Esq.: "Enclosed is cheque for twenty five dollars to cover your receipted bill for professional services rendered."
