Title
[LM022244], Letter from Ezra Torrance Gilliland to Armin Tenner, December 7th, 1888
Editor's Notes
"Your favor of the 13th November reached me just about the time I landed in this country after a four months trip to Europe. When I left here I expected to go to Berlin, and in fact did not give up the idea of going to Berlin until about the time I started home. ### I think I informed you some time ago that I had sold out my entire interest in the Phonograph business and know very little as to what is going on. I saw a great deal of Gouraud the first [unclear] works that I was in London. ### I have retired from business and expect to return to Europe again in the Spring; shall spend some time at the Paris Exposition and will visit Berlin and will expect to see you. ### I am much obliged for the clipping you enclosed and will have it translated so that I can see what is going on, as I am still interested in that invention, especially the European end of it." Yours very truly, E.T. Gilliland
