Title
[LM111192], Letter from Arthur Edwin Kennelly to Harold P Brown, December 6th, 1888
Editor's Notes
My Dear Mr Brown##I beg to acknowledge your letter of yesterdays date with the enclosed note which I have pleasure in herewith returning with such slight corrections as time has enabled us to make in the electrical details. I would suggest one or two additional points which you may embody if you think fit to do so.##2nd That in the case of the calves the EMF immediately before closing their circuits was 830 falling be the steady value of 770 and 750 in each case##3rd That in the case of the horse the root was measured between electrodes on the back and forehead but that the difficulty in fixing the [chotiodes?] in those positions with her (NB she was a mare) together with the -------- question brought about the leg contacts.##I am forwarding the revised EMFs to Dr Peterson a Chairman of the Board together with the Butcher's certificate. I regret that I could not give you the correct EMF, on the occasion but you know takes quite a little calculation especially as we had recalibrated the Cardew that morning.##Yours very truly##A.E. Kennelly
