Editor's Notes
.####[page 174]####19th February 89####V.D. Marks Esq.####Genl Manager####Edison Electric Light Co####Philadelphia####Dear Sir####In reply to your letter of the 16th inst. I beg to sya that the constant of a 700 light meter with 3 strips on each side is just 3 times that of an ordinary 100 light meter. Thus the transferred weight in milligrammes multiplied by 975 divided by 1224 and the multiplied by 3 give the number of ampere hours recorded so that if C be the current absorbs by the standard lamp and the cost of the lamp hour to the consumer to complete constant is#### $ x 978 x 3 ?/ C x 12214####Yours faithfully####A.E. Kennelly####
