Title
[LM111409], Letter from Arthur Edwin Kennelly to John Alfred Brashear, May 21st, 1889
Editor's Notes
Mr J.A. Brashear##Dear Sir##I beg to acknowledge with thanks your letter of yesterday's date and to say that although Mr Edison needs the quartz for optical purposes in one sense, still fine definition, so accurate polish and grinding is by no means necessary, transparency being more essential than geometrical perfection. The lens however it would be desirable to have in good form. Yours faithfully A.E. Kennelly
