- In reply to your favor of yesterday date I think an ammeter could not be conveniently prepared on the Cardew principle. A sensitive Bergmann ammeter for currents from 0 to 10 or 15 ampere would perhaps answer though not the best tyoes and I would not guarantee its constancy for alternating purposes. The Westinghouse Co prepare such ammeter as you desire and one of these might be procured. Or if necessary a suitable ammeter for the purpose might be designed and made.
