Title

[LM112054], Letter from Arthur Edwin Kennelly to Edison Electric Light Co of Philadelphia, William Dennis Marks, August 10th, 1889

Editor's Notes

"I beg to acknowledge the receipt of your communication of the 8th inst and of the accompanying blue prints of the new [meter? motor?] which appears to be very satisfactory. ## I shall be very pleased to [illeg] you the appartus for determining thet center of distribution in mains, at any time you should visit the laboratory. ## The precise capacity of a meter is still a little doubtful although indirectly the limits have been roughly outlined by experiment on the [illeg] of meter plates. It depends on the temperature of the bottle, the density of current put unit of surface, and on the intervals of rest and activity. No direct experimens were made by Mr. Wirt or myself here in the direction to determine the average behavior with precision....."
