G.L.W. Smith, Purchasing Agent
Central Railroad of New Jersey,
Jersey City, N.J.
Dear Sir:--
We require at our Edison, N.J. plant about 1600 lineal ft. single rail to use in connection with the new steal shovel which has just arrived. We can use anything from fifty to sixty-five lbs.,
Have you anything you can offer us for prompt delivery? If sp. please send us a memorandum of it, also quote us price per ton, l.o.b., Edison, N.J.
We will be obliged if you will let us hear from you promptly, if you cannot furnish the rails, we desire to obtain them outside, as we want to have the new shovel in position to deliver ore to the mill, latter part of this or the first of next month.
Yours very truly,
W.S. Mallory
