Recd Gills with description [of telephone] Batch working on one to be shown British Assoc. Gives description and drawings of motograph telephone; wants Gill to give TAE due credit for invention and send Batch clippings for his scrapbook [are there clippings of Gill exhibition]; "I see by your letter you have left the `Pen,' what do you mean? left Bliss altogether or only got through at Cincinnati. We have had terrible hard work on the speaker telegraph this last 5 or six weeks frequently working 2 nights together until we all had to knock off from want of sleep, but we have today got the best speaker in the country abd we are making some for Gold & Stock Tel Co3Edison sends respects"
