Title
[MBLB4317], Letter from Charles Batchelor to Societe Electrique Edison, July 29th, 1882
Editor's Notes
According to instructions in Bailey's letter this date about greater distance of Brunn theater from supply than previously thought, have today cable TAE to alter conductors, also to send drawings of K, L, and E machines. Don't know what cost of changes will be. Impossible to make money with changes always going against us; original estimate was for fewer lights at lesser distance. "Such items as these are not to be despised and will tend to eat up our profit when added after the annual remuneration is fixed."
