- #449. In accordance with yours of 8 Feby have read your letters to Societe Electrique about shipping engine to Milan and payments for it. Had this all been done through Paris, this would be easier. Enclose translation of letter from Italian people showing they're disposed to settle things amicably. Of course you cannot be expected to suffer a loss when ever you find a new and better thing and I shall continually put this forward with out people until osme satisfactory arrangement is reached."
