Title

[MBN011AAL], Technical Note, Charles Batchelor, March 15th, 1884

Editor's Notes

Edison T machine. Image 22 Calculations for incandescent lamps" (looks like formulae for balancing photometer?) Image 25 "Law of Incandescence" "It seems to result from essays made till now that for the same luminous intensity the quantity of energy per candle is constant (if we keep the same surface per candle as we have in the 8x13 1/2 fiber we are sure of our life and if we give the same surface per candle for all lamps we are sure of life). Now our electromotive force being always constant the ampers will be propoprtional to the number of lamps."
