- Editor's Notes
- Letter to editor about dangers of overhead electric wires. Wires carrying current for existing arc lights are safety hazard. Urges wisdom of allowing Edison Co to "make a beginning in the work of transferring the wires from over our heads to their natural bed beneath our feet." Permit applied for, although Edison incandescent lighting "requires a current of such exceedingly low tension as to admit of the main wires being taken in the unprotected hands with impunity." City should not demand unreasonably fees.
