- Editor's Notes
- Enthuses about beauty of Menlo Park in advanced springtime. Lizzie thinks she would have a garden and lawn if only light co stock were paying a divident. Light will be before public again soon, in slightly improved form and lots of experience behind it. "We shall show 300 or 400 scattered through the streets here, or rather in the fields, for the streets are more imaginary than real." Though with Columbia, which sailed yesterday. Expect it will work well. "There will be in the future a great many steamers to fit with the light and this will be quite a profitable business in itself." Family stuff.
