- Editor's Notes
- [Letterhead: Edison Lamp Company] Reports that 1885 has been a good year as business has increased. If they hold prices and don't change their style he predicts another good year. They will have large expenses next year. Because of this they will probably not be able to declare more than two percent in dividends. Will have to reduce prices in US and give royalty to the Edison Light Co. Abroad, must also meet competition---mainly Siemens & Halske
