Fault in lamps lamp 118 on Edison chandelier gave out found leading wires melted completely away, bulb coated blac below platina point, top of inside glass coated black, track of platina wire in enamel seemed to be fused with small globules of pt; lamp 101 gave excellent light during exhibition played out because loop falling out of clamps (drawings of clamps opposite), also black deposit; general faults some blackened perhaps not as well carbonized; made 4 lamps with new platina clamps also platina wire fused in glass great improvement
