Pump No 1. "Oct 20 got vac 41 min without lamp. Oct 21 Could not get vacuum as Hg wwent back without cause. Took down." Fr 1074 record when lamps put on, sealed off pump 2. Pump 3 same as #2, broke in handling. Pump 4 (fr 1076) gives 3 1/2 oz per min in vacuum. Then more lamps on pumps. Fr 1079 have pump #8 operating.
