- fig 1 "caveat" lamp with what looks like wavy lead wires enclosed in glass; lamp with paraffined carbon:: "after carbzg put in drying box with phos anyhdride or immediately dropped in parafine or simular sub all except broad ends before sealing in parafin disolved out by solvents sketch showing lamps "after sealing in & drying to be kept with phos anhydride tubes on;" then sketch of another way of connecting phos anydr tubes, using "charcoal red hot & put into melted chlo carbon."
