Starting running passenger loco at 9AM; made 5 round trips equal to 20 miles. Armature got warm; hauled 12 tons of freight. Ran till 11:30 AM. Used 4.16 lbs of coal. "Took out the plug breaking the circuit excepting the field of the four Dynamo Machines.."
