"We now make plates of spongy metallic lead pressed up into plates, work ban up. Make the metallic sponge by precipitating hot Chl Pb or acetate Pb by zinc or iron wash & press. Propose to make phosphoric lead which would be finer. Description of differetn plates continues. P. 137 [May 13] Also going to try copper plates using iodide copper" etc.
