May 18 1889##Chromate of Lead is insoluable in Hyposulphite Soda-- Alkaline Sol of Lead Oxide is precipitated by alkaline Sols of Chormic Stannic Sannous Antimony & Arsenic Oxides hence Lead Oxide say Litharge or red Lead in strong soda staurated with say Chromic Oxide should work with Zinc, or a per oxide plate with Zinc shld work Zinc Bromide combines with Bromide of ammonia to form a double salt which has a specific gravity of 2.628??-- Quartz wldnt float & gold would sink?? Oh dear the avofe is solid##Conc sol of double Chloride of Zinc & ammonium disolve Zinc oxide pefectly [top of second page labeled Ore Mlg but seems to refer to drawing on left page - some of the second page seems to be battery and some ore milling]
