- For village plant: means to keep ckt of 3 lamps energized in case one in series fails. "Have I anything like this Differential wound magnets when lamps ok the current in low res coil a balances the magnetism produced by the current in the fine wire b. R is a low resistance or it may be another lamp-- when the lamp 1 2 or 3 breaks the diffrential bal is destroyed the armature of the magnet is attracted & the coil R is thrown in ckt-- E" Embodied in patent 438,301.
