- ca. 1877-1922. Orange, NJ.Standard Oil executive and friend/acquaintance of the Edison family. Husband of Theodora (Dora) Barstow. Son of Standard Oil executive Frank Quarles Barstow (1847-1909). He was a commander in the Naval Reserve during WWI. After the dissolution of Standard Oil, he became president of the Union Tank Car Co. in NYC. He died of pneumonia developing from tonsilitis during a week's illness. Writes to TAE in 1916 re: a Essex County Country Club dinner. (E1615).
