- 1888-1948. Edison Employee. Edison Pioneer. He worked for the Singer Sewing Machine Co. and the Worthington Pump Co. before being hired by Donald Bliss, TAE's chief engineer, in November 1911. He worked in the Engineering Dept. of the West Orange Laboratory until 1914 when he was put in charge of the design section of the Edison Storage Battery Co. He was still serving in that position in 1932 when he applied for membership in the Edison Pioneers. He continued to work for TAE Inc. through at least 1942. He was secretary of the Edison Storage Battery Co. Band in 1916 (E1625) and secretary of the Edison Brass Band in 1917 (E1728). Biographical informaiton from Edison Pioneers Collection.
