Title
[SB012AAL], Letter from Grosvenor Porter Lowrey to Thomas Alva Edison, August 7th, 1880
Editor's Notes
How about meeting here next week with Villard, Fabbri and perhaps Navarro to discuss ElecRwy business. Fabbri asked me about paying for the foreign patents; said Gouraud wants to take out English pats. I think you should stick to present arrangements; if you don't want these pats considered under your agreement with DM & Co, they can be held separately. Marg: "will come over Thursday if you will say what hour. I have not made any arrgmts with Colby to take out pats in eng(?) on RR. I wld not do anything to dissatisfy Wright or Fabbri in any manner for all I cld make out of the pats. I never done anything as yet of kind that I know of."
