"Sued by Inventor Edison", Newark News. TAE began his suit in equity against Gilliland and Tomlinson. The article briefly describes how TAE and Gilliland and Tomlinson began working. The two have been charged with receiving $250,000 from the sale of the phonograph for persuading TAE to sell the patent "at a price lower than the value of the invention."
