- I have been making investigations in regard to the number of brick in the foundation of the Edison Laboratory, over & above that called for in specification. I have a communication from Harry Fairchild of which the enclosed is a copy.##In regard to the trenches and chimneys, these were not started, according to Mr. Zimmerman's statement, until Mr. Taft was in charge. Supposing Mr. Taft to have the minutes in regard to the interior walls in Dynamo room. The two added together should make the am't due Mr. Everett over & above his contract
