- Editor's Notes
- Yours of the 9th received. As you were informed by the President of the Eidson Electric Light Co & Pres. of Mess Bergmann & Co that an arrangement had been effected by which the goods were to be loaned by Messrs Bergmann & co & as you were informed by myself that I had after considerable delay &c effected an arrangement with the above firm, you were to some extent at least acquited with the fact that requisitions were not being filed in the [dark?]. I should have been glad to send you the letter from Messrs Bergmann & Co to Mr Edison but for the fact that it reached me but yesterday. I will enclose you a copy of the same as well as a copy of Mr Johnson's letter from Bergmann & my letter to Mr Johnson as Pres of B & Co.##In conclusion I beg to state that the financial part of this work is receiving very careful attention at my bank & thjus far I d not consider it has been slighted by me in any respect.
