misdated it is 890114: Thos. A. Edison and E T. Gilliland have signified their intention of coming down and spending the winter with us. We hope Mr. edison will turn on our electric light this winter, and he probably will, as everything is here, at his laboratory, that is necessary; all that is required is putting up the poles and strining the wire. Fort Myers will be a lively place this winter.
