- Editor's Notes
- [Letterhead of Edison Co. for Isolated Lighting] Yours of 12/10 received; you don't conduct business properly; everything goes wrong because you fail to communicate effectively; you treat subordinates with "suspicion and contempt"; I hate to do anything in such a bungling manner that it is certain to fail; I only sent the man to Washington without material and proper instruction to gratify you; if you had only met at my office with Hutchinson and me for 15 minutes things would have gone differently; it would then have been an act of the constituted executives of the co. acting in a business matter, not the personal request of the president on behalf of a friend.
