- Editor's Notes
- I'm in receipt of yours of 24th inst. enclosing certificate for 24 shares; Johnson referred me to yours of same date addressed to him, the latter enclosing informal receipt from Johnson for $470.40; I enclosed two informal duplicate receipts, one for $627.20 and one for $470.40 applied to 15 and 68/100ths shares standing in your name; also enclosed are installment receipts for 24 shares 30 percent paid, issued in place of installment certificate No. 150; You state that there was an outrage committed upon you. This outrage is perpetrated on our stockholders on a daily basis; I wanted to meet you personally to explain what happened. [Suggests some malfeasance in financing of the Light Co.]
