Title
[X154A5BV], Letter from Edward Hibberd Johnson to Uriah Hunt Painter, March 1st, 1886
Editor's Notes
[Letterhead: Edison Company for Isolated Lighting] a "striped ass" of an office boy sent you the papers; much obliged to you for forwarding them; what I did anyone can do; cost is not great; one man runs the plant continuousely###will allow you very favorable terms for central station in Washington, probably on the basis of 30% to us for franchise, 10% for you for promoting it; leaving us 20% net; if you will take it up, I'll get something definite; do you think you can form a company with $200,000 capital?
