Title

[X154A7ES], Letter from Jesse H Lippincott to Uriah Hunt Painter, November 17th, 1888

Editor's Notes

I called on Col. Reiff, this morning and paid him twenty-six thousand five hundred dollars, one half of the amount which is due on the payment, which has just matuered. AT his suggestion I wire you in regard to having the time exteneded.##I have made all my arrangement to go West, in the interest of this business, and it will greatly disarrange my plan and inconvenience me to remain here over Wednesday to see you. If you will waive the forfeiture so that ti will be all right up to the 30th of November, then I can arrange matters so that there will be no further disappointment to you.##I will wait here on Monday, to receive a telegram from you; for of course I will not go away until I know that the time as been settled beyond Wednesday.
