- Editor's Notes
- My Dear Reiff:-- Yours of 4, 9, to hand.##If you ever wrote me a letter such as you describe, it has never been received. This is the first inquiry I have had from you about it.##The 100 shares was put in at the basis of $13.##I enclose a check for $1,000. and additional.##The stock of which you speak of Mr. Johnson's has long since been paid for to him, and from the outlook of the Sprague Co. with which he means to be perfectly facinated, he will have to continue to be a borrower for some time to come.##If I am allowed to carry out my present intentions, I expect to have an interest for you in a concern where it will be of some benefit to you, but howmuch I cannot yet tell.##Am hoping daily to get some matters closed up heere that will enable me to pack p and quit, but this is the slowest administration I have erver had any experience with. Yours truly,
