- Editor's Notes
- Dear U.H. I don't know what to make of your word "curious"-- Does Reiff go for me? I think you better be liberal with him at least insofar as I am concerned Of course I know nothing of your own relations, but I assume they have been all one way to an extent that would forbid him complaining of your for not dividing with hime however as I am not able to make disposition of tis particular property I can't will it or any portion of it to him except as you may decide--##My share of the Old Automatic was to have been anything they chose to give me I have a dim recolection of $75,000 having been once mentioned but I recall nothing definite What has that got to do with the case? Automatic took me from Colorado and I lost a share in several enterprizes which I was managing & which Genl Palmer promised to give me an interest in--perhaps I didn't loos much. At all events I think Onne perhaps about balances the other-- Nevertheless I like Reiff and want you to count me in on anything you think I ought to do for him in recognition of the past
