Editor's Notes
My Dr U.H. I am about shaping my course for the New Year DM & Co are out of control & admit it. V & Edison have decided that they don't want me under the conditions I impose. I must therefore start afresh. And on an independent basis. It is essential that I know what I have & what I have not. I have cleaned up my a/c with every one except you. It is neither right or Just that I should continue on the record as your Creditor I have paid the a/c you are last man in the world that would assent to my having such relations with any human being you have never permitted me to have them with you when the balance was on the other side. You have always received the customary business acknowledgement You must now give them to me It is not a question of the Dollars & Cents at issue I tis simply a matter of acknowledgements To these I am certainly entitled No amount of personal friendship or of charitable intentions on your part can weigh against the injury to my personal credit arising from the uncertainty of my assets & liabilities at a moment when It is so important that I be able to make a clear shewing of them Yours truly EHJ
